Celebrating Inspiring Women in our Community
Each year, the Women of Distinction Luncheon brings our community together to celebrate the extraordinary women who lead with purpose, passion, and conviction. Our honorees represent far more than individual accomplishment — they are a powerful network of changemakers who uplift others and drive meaningful progress in Darien and Norwalk.
We look forward to celebrating again with you next year!

About Women of Distinction
For more than 17 years, YWCA Darien/Norwalk's Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon has celebrated the remarkable women and young women whose leadership, service, and dedication strengthen our community. Each year, we recognize individuals whose contributions inspire others and create lasting change through leadership, advocacy, volunteerism, mentorship, and service.
More than a celebration, Women of Distinction is one of YWCA Darien/Norwalk's signature fundraising events. Proceeds from the luncheon support programs that empower women, strengthen families, and create opportunities for youth throughout our community, helping advance YWCA's mission year-round.
Why We Honor Women of Distinction
Every community is shaped by people who lead with compassion, lift others up, and create opportunities for those around them. Women of Distinction recognizes these extraordinary women and young women, ensuring their stories are celebrated and their impact inspires future generations. By honoring those who make a difference, we celebrate the values of leadership, service, and equity that continue to strengthen our community.
