WINETASTERS

Looking to broaden your circle or simply connect over great wine? The YWCA’s popular Winetasters Club is a fun and welcoming way for members to meet new people and explore new wines in a relaxed setting.

Each season, participants are placed into thoughtfully curated groups of 8–10 based on preferences shared through a short questionnaire you’ll complete upon registration, including life stage, availability, location, and more. For decades, this intentional approach has been the secret to our great group chemistry and lifelong friendships.

We’re excited to once again be partnering with The Town Cellar, our local, women-owned wine shop, to provide monthly wine packages for each group.

No wine knowledge needed. Just come ready to sip, share, and connect.

This year (2026–2027), Winetasters will offer two seasonal sessions.

2026–2027 Sessions

Fall Winetasters: 4 gatherings from September to April

Registration opens on July 15th and will close on September 9th. Groups will be formed and shared with members by the end of September.

Winter/SpringWinetasters: 4 gatherings from January to June

Registration for Winter/Spring Winetasters will open in mid-December

How It Works

  • During registration, you’ll complete a short questionnaire to gather information about your preferences.
  • YWCA team goes to work thoughtfully creating groups of approximately 10 people.
  • Once the groups have been formed (approx. 2 weeks after registration closes), you will receive an email with your group’s contact info, suggested wines, and tasting notes.
  • Groups self-organize and take turns hosting at home or a chosen venue.
  • The cost to join Winetasters is $50/person.
