MEMBER CLUBS
NEWCOMERS CLUB
Our longest-running club, Newcomers helps individuals and families ease into life in Darien and Norwalk through social events, playdates, and seasonal celebrations. Designed for those new to the area, members enjoy adult events like happy hours, book clubs, and cooking classes, as well as family-friendly activities throughout the year.
BEYOND NEWCOMERS
For those no longer “new” but still looking to meet new people and deepen community ties, Beyond Newcomers offers social gatherings, workshops, game nights, and more. It’s the perfect space to try something new, expand your circle, and stay engaged.
INTERNATIONAL CLUB
A close-knit community of globally minded women who connect through shared interests and traditions. This club includes groups like a coffee & tea group, book club, craft group, cooking club, excursions, and international holiday celebrations throughout the year.
NETWORK OF WORKING WOMEN
Created for professionals at every career stage, NOWW hosts monthly gatherings focused on professional growth and personal development. Whether you’re leading a team, launching a business, or returning to the workforce, you’ll find relevant topics, real conversations, and lasting support.
WINETASTERS
One of our most popular experiences, Winetasters brings members together in small, thoughtfully matched groups to explore wine and build friendships. Groups meet several times a season, rotating hosts and enjoying curated wine pairings from The Town Cellar ($50/person).
GOURMET
For those who love food, conversation, and connection, Gourmet Club forms small groups to gather over seasonal menus provided by the YW. Members take turns hosting dinners and preparing dishes, or opt to dine out ($50/person).
PLAYGROUPS
Designed for families with young children, Playgroups connect parents and caregivers through shared outings, seasonal playdates, and social time for both adults and kids. Groups are formed based on your child’s age and availability, using preferences collected during registration.
Playgroups also include options for families raising children with developmental differences or diverse support needs, offering inclusive experiences and the opportunity for parent connection and support ($10/registration).
