DESCRIPTION:Middle & High School Students – Make Change. Build Skills. Lead Today!\nThe YWCA Darien/Norwalk’s Youth Empowerment Committee (YEC) is where young people come together to make a difference in our community. Our YEC meets twice a month to plan upcoming service projects\, connect with peers\, and explore new ways to make an impact. Through hands-on volunteer work\, YEC members are building a stronger\, more compassionate world\, one project at a time. \nIf you have a tween or teen looking to get involved and give back to the community\, this is the perfect opportunity! \nThe Youth Empowerment Committee meets in person every other Wednesday from 6-7pm at the YW. \nJoin the YWCA Youth Empowerment Committee \nMembership is free if you click “Junior Membership” on the Become a Member page at www.ywcadn.org. \n  \n
