DESCRIPTION:Guy Talk: What Every Boy Needs to Know About Puberty. \nThis presentation is led by local expert Dr. Todd Palker of New England Pediatrics to help support parents and their children (recommended ages 10-12) in the sometimes awkward conversations around puberty. Dr. Palker will help teach your son about what to expect as they grow. Material is handled in a straighforward and entertaining manner. This is not a “sex” talk\, but a candid discussion about the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty. \nNote: This program is intended for caregivers to attend with boys who are beginning to show signs of puberty (approx ages 10-12).

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an inspiring presentation\, as Chris shares his journey navigating the disease of addiction\, the road to recovery and his mission to make a difference. \nChris Herren\, a basketball legend from Fall River\, Massachusetts\, was an All-American\, broke scoring records and was recruited by the nation’s top colleges. Herren realized his lifelong dream of playing in the NBA when he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 1999 and then traded to his hometown team\, the Boston Celtics\, before losing his career and almost his family to the disease of addiction. \nA person in long term recovery\, Chris inspires people to identify the “Why” in their story. \nNo registration is necessary. This event is free and open to the public.
