Each member takes a turn hosting and prepares the main dish\, while others bring sides or dessert. Prefer to dine out? DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an inspiring presentation\, as Chris shares his journey navigating the disease of addiction\, the road to recovery and his mission to make a difference. \nChris Herren\, a basketball legend from Fall River\, Massachusetts\, was an All-American\, broke scoring records and was recruited by the nation’s top colleges. Herren realized his lifelong dream of playing in the NBA when he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 1999 and then traded to his hometown team\, the Boston Celtics\, before losing his career and almost his family to the disease of addiction. \nA person in long term recovery\, Chris inspires people to identify the “Why” in their story. \nNo registration is necessary. DESCRIPTION:Born out of our Newcomers Club\, Playgroups was developed as a way for parents and caregivers to connect with families of similarly-aged children.
