At YWCA Darien/Norwalk\, we know that not all violence is acknowledged or responded to equally and that some victims go unrecognized altogether. That’s why\, for more than 20 years\, we have set aside one week in October as a Week Without Violence. \nOctober 21st – October 26th Event Line Up\n\nA parent talk with Darien Domestic Abuse Council discussing healthy dating relationships and signs to watch for in your teen to indicate abusive relationships. Held at the Darien Community Association.\n\n\n\nA conversation with author Michelle Horton at the Darien Library to discuss her book Dear Sister; the story of how her sister was incarcerated after killing her abusive partner in self-defense.
