DESCRIPTION:Join us for a taste of Spain at the Town Cellar in Darien! We will sample a lineup of reds and whites from Rioja\, the “Grande Dame” of Spanish wine regions\, as well as the nearby Basque Country. It will give you an idea of why Spain is one of the most exciting wine countries on the planet today. \nThe session will be led by the renowned sommelier Tyler Colman\, Ph.D. A finalist for a James Beard award\, Tyler taught wine classes for ten years at NYU. His wine writing has appeared in Food & Wine\, The New York Times\, the World of Fine Wine\, the Oxford Companion to wine and he is a contributing editor at Wine & Spirits magazine. He recently started leading custom wine tours and has one coming up next spring for friends of the Town Cellar. \nJoin us in the Town Cellar’s tasting room Loft at 6.30p. $65/pp Please RSVP by November 6th.
