A Conversation on Bias, Privilege and Racism
Monday July 13th

ZOOM Webinar

A Conversation on

Debby Irving is a leading voice in the national racial justice community. Her book, Waking Up White, shares her experience of racial justice understanding that eventually led her to dig deeply into her own white privilege, where she found truths she never knew existed. She shares a journey of opening herself to learning about the realities of racism and the unintended impacts of white privilege.

Small Group Discussions

To continue the conversation the members of the community will be reading Waking Up White, with small groups participating in guided discussions about the book. Groups may be formed on your own, through businesses or organizations. The YWCA will also be putting together groups of those who would like to meet some of their neighbors whose views may be a bit different from theirs. To participate in a group, please complete this form.
