Women’s Career Transition Series – Fall Foundations 2026 Cohort

The YWCA Darien/Norwalk Economic Empowerment Program helps women build the financial knowledge, career confidence, and practical skills needed to create greater independence and opportunity.
This four-part Career Transition Series is designed for women who are:
- Returning to the workforce after time away
- Exploring a career change
- Looking for more meaningful or flexible work
- Re-entering the job market after a layoff
- Unsure where to begin their next professional chapter
Rather than focusing solely on finding a job, this series helps participants build a thoughtful, modern approach to navigating career transitions with confidence.
Our sessions are practical, interactive, and designed to leave participants with tangible tools they can immediately apply.
The series will run Wednesday Oct 14, Oct 21, Oct 28 & Nov 4 from 10:00am–12:00pm at the YWCA Darien/Norwalk.
Program Outcomes
By the end of the series, participants will:
- Understand their unique strengths and professional value
- Develop a compelling personal brand
- Update their résumé and LinkedIn profile
- Learn modern job search strategies, including AI tools
- Build a realistic, personalized career transition plan
